Good Phats Spanish Light Avocado Oil Spray 200ml
Avocado Spray Oil
Good Phats Spanish Light Avocado Oil Spray 200ml is a convenient way to get a light, even coating of avocado oil without pouring more than you need. Made using 100% light avocado oil from Andalucía, Spain, it has a mellow, neutral flavour that lets the other ingredients in your dish do the talking.
With a high smoke point of 271°C, this avocado oil cooking spray is particularly useful for air frying, frying, grilling and roasting. Give vegetables a quick spritz before they go into the air fryer, coat a hot pan before frying eggs, prepare a wok for a stir-fry or lightly grease baking trays and cake tins.
Unlike many cooking sprays, Good Phats uses no added water or emulsifiers, so what comes out of the can is simply avocado oil. At i4C, we particularly like having it beside the air fryer, a couple of quick sprays make it easy to coat everything from crispy potatoes and Asian greens to chicken and halloumi without reaching for a bottle of oil.

Why does refined avocado oil have such a high smoke point?
Refining removes some of the compounds and solids naturally present in unrefined avocado oil, making refined avocado oil more stable at higher cooking temperatures. This is why it is particularly useful for methods such as frying, roasting and grilling.
Does light avocado oil mean it contains fewer calories?
No. In this context, “light” describes the oil's mild flavour and refined character rather than its calorie content. It is still an edible cooking oil, so the amount used determines the calories contributed to a dish.
What is the difference between refined avocado oil and extra virgin avocado oil?
Refined avocado oil has a much more neutral flavour and is better suited to cooking where you don't want the oil to dominate. Extra virgin avocado oil is less processed and generally has a more pronounced avocado flavour, making it particularly suited to dressings, dips and finishing dishes.
