Eco-Pebble Chamomile Flowers 50g
Dried Chamomile
Eco-Pebble Chamomile Flowers 50g are whole dried chamomile flowers with a delicate floral aroma and gently sweet, herbaceous flavour. Best known for making chamomile tea, these fragrant dried flowers are also a surprisingly versatile ingredient for baking, desserts, syrups and infusions.
Steep the flowers in hot water for a simple herbal infusion, or use them to infuse milk, cream, sugar syrup and honey with their distinctive floral character. Chamomile works particularly well alongside lemon, vanilla, honey, apple and stone fruits, making it an interesting addition to everything from panna cotta and ice cream to cakes and biscuits.
At i4C, we love ingredients that encourage a little experimentation, and dried chamomile flowers go far beyond the teapot. Try infusing them into cream for desserts or adding a small amount to shortbread for a subtle floral note that feels a little different without overpowering everything else.

How long should dried chamomile flowers be steeped for tea?
Chamomile is commonly steeped in freshly boiled water for around five minutes, although leaving it a little longer will produce a stronger infusion. A tea infuser or fine strainer makes it easy to remove the flowers before drinking.
How do you infuse chamomile flavour into cream or milk?
Gently warm the milk or cream without boiling it, add the dried chamomile and allow the flowers to infuse before straining. The infused liquid can then be used for custards, panna cotta, ice cream, ganache and other desserts.
What flavours pair particularly well with chamomile?
Chamomile's delicate floral character pairs beautifully with honey, lemon, vanilla, apple, pear, apricot and peach. It can also work with white chocolate and gentle herbs, giving plenty of scope for experimenting with both drinks and desserts.
