Tasteless Thickener. Texture Of Pastry Cream.
Has a variety of uses in the kitchen, particularly in dessert-making.
- Allows you to get the texture of custard but in cold conditions, without adding gelling agents.
- Can be used hot or cold for any liquid preparation.
- Ideal for use in creams e.g. raw pastry cream/cold creams, without impairing the flavour.
- Also perfect to add texture and to thicken your delicious soups and sauces.
- Size: 500g.
Suitable for vegetarians, vegans and coeliacs. Kosher Certified.
Thickener: Acetylated dimydicate phosphate (E1414) (potato).

Recipe - Passion fruit & Mango Custard:
- 25g Lemon Juice
- 25g Lime Juice
- 40g Stock syrup 50/50
- 8g GelCream
- Mix all the ingredients together with a hand blender until a smooth puree is formed.
- Rest for 10 minutes, giving the products time to hydrate and thicken more.
- Then blend again.
- No heating required when using Gelcrem Cold so a fresh clean flavour is achieved with no running or leaking on the plate.
