Each kit contains 50 portions of 9g caramel chips, a 200ml bottle of food-grade alcohol infused with caramel flavour, plus a spray nozzle and pouring tip. Designed for use at the table or in the kitchen, the high-proof cooking alcohol ignites cleanly, caramelising the surface while leaving the rest of the dessert chilled and untouched. The alcohol burns off completely, leaving a rich flavour and a satisfyingly crunchy top layer.

Is the alcohol in the kit safe to use with food?
