Brindisa Acorn Fed 75% Ibérico Chorizo 100g is a sliced Spanish chorizo made from Ibérico pigs raised on the dehesa of Extremadura, where they spend their final weeks feeding on acorns. This traditional rearing gives the pork a deep, rounded flavour and a soft, melting texture. The sausage is seasoned simply with salt, garlic, and mild smoked pimentón de la Vera, creating a balance that is gently smoky rather than overpowering. Sweet notes from the acorn fed fat come through clearly, making this chorizo rich but well judged, and easy to enjoy on its own or as part of a wider spread.
