Gum Arabic is an edible powder form of a natural gum from the Acacia tree.
- Baking: When added to the dry ingredients of a cake mixture, it will add some natural fibre, and assist in rising.
- Glue: Mix 2 tsps with 60ml water to make a glue that will stick sugar pieces together.
- Glaze Varnish: Create your own glaze (mix as for glue) to give a shine to sugar paste and marzipan.
